This is my fourth tattoo. I got it done on September 7th, 2011. Matt Gibson from 15th Street Tattoo Gallery in Edmond, Oklahoma has done all four. Please go check him and the rest of the shop out, they do some very amazing work.
My story behind this tattoo is kind of unique. This quote “There’s nothing worse than being ordinary” is from the movie American Beauty. It’s my all time favorite movie. The first time I watched it, every time they would say this, it would just get stuck in my mind. I usually don’t remember quotes too well, so it was weird that this one was so easy to remember. After watching the movie several times from earlier to now, I decided to get this quote as a tattoo.
It’s on my inner right forearm, and it’s my first visible tattoo (as in, where everyone sees).
The day after it was done. They told me it was going to hurt but I underestimated their warnings.
